Cumin

Cumin is a flowering plant in the family Apiaceae, native to a territory stretching east to India. Its seeds – each one contained within a fruit, which is dried and used in the cuisines of many cultures in both whole and ground form. Cumin is used as a spice for it’s aroma and for medical properties. Cumin has a distinctive flavour due to it’s essential oil content. The harvesting of cumin is done when the plant becomes yellowish brown. The cut crop is dried and threshed. Through winnowing the seeds are separated before from foreign material or impurities and packed as per the customized requirements and packing of the buyer.
