

Arunachal Large Black Cardamom
Arunachal is the second largest producer of cardamom in the region after Sikkim. It has become the second largest producer state of large black cardamom in India with the help of organic farming. Arunachal Large Black Cardamom comes in following grades – Arunchal Medium, Arunachal Small and Clean Grinding. The pods are used as a spice, in a similar manner to green cardamom pods, but those have a different flavour. Unlike green cardamom, this spice is rarely used in sweet dishes. Its smoky flavour and aroma derive from traditional methods of drying over open flames and render it more suited for spicy dishes. It is organically grown and is Pesticides free certified as per FSSAI guidelines. The the harvesting season of large black cardamom is August to December and Marketing season is October to February.
